This oil is extracted from the kernel of the fruit of the organic cultivated palm tree. Extraction is done through mechanical pressing, without the use of solvents or other chemical substances. Oil refining utilizes USDA NOP-approved processing aids including citric acid and bleaching earth. These are not considered additives since they are removed during processing.
