Is anything wasted in palm harvesting and production?

Palm clusters are cut by hand, gathered, and loaded into trucks for transport to the production area.  Once delivered, nothing is wasted.  Biodiesel, made on-site from palm oil waste, fuels the hundreds of tractors and trucks on the site.  Fiber is collected and used to fuel the boilers. Palm cluster husks are trucked back to the forests and spread as fertilizer.
