How should tapioca syrup be stored once it is opened?

Shelf life is two years unopened, and variable after opening, depending on storage conditions.  If the syrup is not used within 5 days of being opened, we recommend refrigeration to inhibit the possible growth of yeast or mold.

Regardless of storage conditions or the amount of time the container has been opened, any syrup used from a previously opened container should be inspected for mold and yeast prior to using.
