Extra virgin palm oil is semi-solid at an ambient temperature and sometimes prone to phase separation, since its typical composition is approximately 50% saturated fatty acids, 40% mono-unsaturated fatty acids, and 10% poly-unsaturated fatty acids.
The oil is extracted from the pulp of the organically cultivated palm tree fruit. The oil is physically extracted through a mechanical press, without the use of solvents or other chemicals substances.
