APRIL 29, 2016 - Our Baking Powder is now Non-GMO Project Verified. Instead of the typical corn starch base, Ciranda's premium Baking Powder uses an Organic Potato Starch base which offers additional functionality in breads and baked goods. Potato Starch has a low swelling temperature (less than 140°F / 60°C) which creates volume and prevents dough from falling. It forms a crisp crust and moist, tender crumb.

AUGUST 29, 2013 - Ciranda is proud to be the first company in the United States to offer 100 percent certified sustainable Identity Preserved (IP) Organic palm oil following the recent certification by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). The RSPO-IP certification guarantees the traceability of each lot of palm oil back to the field of origin, and is the most stringent of four certification levels offered by the RSPO. JUNE 27, 2013 - Ciranda is happy to participate in the Fifteenth Annual Artful Garden Tour which will be held this weekend, June 29 and 30, from 10 AM to 4 PM on Saturday and from 1 PM to 4 PM on Sunday in Hudson, WI.
The tour begins at the Octagon House, 1004 Third St. in Hudson, WI. It consists of seven gardens in the Hudson area that are filled with beautiful plantings and many interesting garden features, such as waterfalls, ponds, footpaths, sculpture, streams, water gardens and koi ponds.

MAY 20, 2013 - New Study titled Dietary Fats and Health: Dietary Recommendations in the Context of Scientific Evidence by Glen D. Lawrence suggests that it's time to reconsider saturated fats in our diets. This may have been labelled as bad erroneously.
