Instead of the typical corn starch base, Ciranda's premium Baking Powder uses an Organic Potato Starch base which offers additional functionality in breads and baked goods. Potato Starch has a low swelling temperature (less than 140°F / 60°C) which creates volume and prevents dough from falling. It forms a crisp crust and moist, tender crumb.
