At Ciranda, we are dedicated to the quality and safety of our ingredients.
Quality assurance is a continuous process. Our experienced in-house QA team works closely with our suppliers to monitor product quality from lot-to-lot and verify the integrity of each ingredient.
Our qualification process includes an in-person visit to every supplier. While on-site, we carefully observe each ingredient’s journey, from the field to the processing plant. As we evaluate product quality, we also survey working conditions, fair labor practices, and the overall environmental health of the project.
Our ingredients carry certifications for organic, non-GMO and kosher. Many of our ingredients are also available with fair trade and social certifications, helping our customers create better products for a better world.
Under the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) for importers of food products, Ciranda is responsible for determining and evaluating potential risks and hazards for each ingredient, conducting supplier verification, initiating corrective actions if necessary, and maintaining the appropriate documentation for every supplier we partner with.
